🗓️ Day 1: Dehradun – Guptkashi / Sitapur (210 km / 8–9 hrs)
You will be received from Dehradun in the early morning and begin your journey towards Guptkashi or Sitapur, nestled in the Himalayan foothills of Uttarakhand. Enjoy a scenic drive through the beautiful landscapes of Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and river valleys along the Ganga and Mandakini. On arrival at Guptkashi, check in to your hotel and relax after the long drive. In the evening, you can visit the Ardhnareshwar Temple or local markets. Dinner and overnight stay at Guptkashi/Sitapur.
🗓️ Day 2: Guptkashi – Gaurikund – Kedarnath Trek (16 km)
Early morning, transfer to Gaurikund (by vehicle) and start the 16 km trek to Kedarnath, either on foot or by pre-booked pony/doli. Those with confirmed helicopter bookings (from Phata or Sirsi) will be transferred accordingly. On reaching Kedarnath, have darshan of the sacred Kedarnath Jyotirlinga, nestled at an altitude of 3,583 m, amidst snow-capped peaks. Take part in the spiritual aura of this ancient temple, believed to have been built by the Pandavas and later revived by Adi Shankaracharya. After darshan and prayers, rest overnight at Kedarnath in simple accommodation or a GMVN camp.
🗓️ Day 3: Kedarnath – Return Trek – Dehradun (Drive Back)
Early in the morning, after attending the divine Kedarnath aarti, start your descent back to Gaurikund. From there, drive back to Dehradun via Rudraprayag. Lunch en route at a local dhaba. Reach Dehradun by late evening and get dropped at your desired location (airport, station, or hotel), marking the end of a soul-purifying Kedarnath Jyotirlinga Yatra.
