Day 1: Pickup from Hubli / Bangalore – Transfer to Badami
Arrive at Hubli / Bangalore Airport or Railway Station, where our representative will receive you. Proceed on a scenic drive to Badami, the ancient capital of the Chalukya dynasty. Check-in at your hotel and relax. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely stroll around the town or opt for a short visit to the Agastya Lake Viewpoint for a sunset experience. Overnight stay at Badami.
Day 2: Badami Sightseeing – Pattadakal – Aihole Excursion
After breakfast, begin your heritage exploration with the iconic **Badami Cave Temples**, intricately carved rock-cut temples representing Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist influences. Visit the **Bhutanatha Temples** by the lake and explore the Badami Fort that offers panoramic views of the surrounding terrain.
Later, proceed for a day excursion to **Pattadakal**, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its blend of Dravidian and Nagara temple architecture, including the **Virupaksha Temple and Mallikarjuna Temple**. Then continue to Aihole, the cradle of Indian temple architecture, home to over 100 ancient temples such as the Durga Temple and Lad Khan Temple. Return to Badami for overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Hampi – Enroute Sightseeing
After breakfast, check out and drive to Hampi, the capital of the once-mighty Vijayanagara Empire. On arrival, check in at your hotel. Enroute or upon arrival, begin your sightseeing with the majestic **Vittala Temple** Complex, featuring the iconic **Stone Chariot** and **Musical Pillars**. Enjoy a serene evening at the **Tungabhadra Riverside** and visit the Purandara Mantapa. Overnight stay at Hampi.
Day 4: Hampi Heritage Tour
Today, delve deep into the architectural marvels of Hampi. Visit the **royal enclosures including the Queen’s Bath, Mahanavami Dibba, Hazara Rama Temple, Stepped Tank, and Elephant Stables**. Explore the **Virupaksha Temple, Sasivekalu Ganesha, Lakshmi Narasimha Statue, and Underground Shiva Temple**.
In the evening, head to **Anjanadri Hill** (believed to be the birthplace of Hanuman) for a panoramic sunset view. Return to hotel. Overnight stay in Hampi.
Day 5: Departure from Hampi – Drop at Hubli / Bangalore
After breakfast, check out and proceed for your return journey. Depending on your departure point, you will be transferred to Hubli or Bangalore Airport / Railway Station with unforgettable memories of Karnataka’s majestic heritage trail.
